SUNDAY, JULY 12, 2026
What comes to mind when you hear the word love? We say we love pizza, our favorite team, or a great vacation -- but the Bible paints a much bigger picture of love -- a love that finds us before we've earned it and never lets us go.

This Sunday, we'll continue our Fruit of the Spirit series by exploring the foundational fruit - LOVE. Together we'll discover that the love God speaks of is far more than a feeling. It's the kind of love that pursues us, transforms us, and meets us right where we are. And when we experience His love deeply, the Holy Spirit begins to produce that same love in us for others. Join us as we learn what it means to be loved to love.

CO-PASTOR SEARCH UPDATE
The elder board regrets to announce that the candidate we were pursuing for the co-pastor position has declined our job offer. We will continue to work with our recruiting firm, who are already in the process of identifying other qualified candidates. Please keep the co-pastor search process in your prayers.

OUTSIDE THE WALLS
We need your help with our next Food Bank Mobile Market on July 21 at the Elks Lodge.

Volunteers are needed from 2:45–5:30 PM to help direct traffic, register neighbors, sort and bag groceries, and load vehicles. Everyone is welcome, so bring a friend along! Students ages 12 and older can help with sorting and bagging, and students ages 16 and older can assist with loading vehicles and directing traffic.

If you have questions, please contact Sherry.

LAST SUNDAY'S INSIGHTS
This week kicked off a new series on the Fruit of the Spirit, starting with Joy. Masood pointed out that our culture keeps promising joy through more stuff, more popularity, more comfort, yet plenty of people who have all of that still feel empty. Real joy works differently. It's anchored in Jesus, not our circumstances.

Highlights
• Happiness depends on what happens to us. Joy depends on who lives in us.
• Joy is stronger than our circumstances. Paul wrote "rejoice always" from a prison cell, proof that suffering doesn't get the final word.
• Gratitude fuels joy, even in hard seasons.
• Joy is meant to be shared, not stockpiled.

Takeaway
Joy isn't the absence of hard circumstances. It's confidence that God is present and good no matter what we're facing.
