SUNDAY, JUNE 28, 2026
It’s merit badge week! Okay, so there aren’t really any merit badges going out, but we are celebrating the completion of another book of the Bible. We’ll close out Philippians this week, and whether you’ve made it to every week or you’ll thief-on-the-cross this thing, you should join as we reflect on this amazing little letter. Or, more briefly and true to what we’ve been seeing in the book, here is what we’ll do on Sunday: “Rejoice!” Join us. Invite others. Let’s gather in love on Sunday.

MEET WITH THE ELDERS
Please join us for a monthly elder board update on Sunday, June 28. We will gather in the auditorium starting 10-15 minutes after the service ends.

We will provide updates on our financial results, the co-pastor search, and the Kidcrest remodeling project. The elders will be available afterward for individual questions and conversations.

No childcare will be provided, but children are welcome to attend with their families. Please pick up your kiddos promptly after the service so Kidcrest staff and volunteers can join us in the auditorium.

LAST SUNDAY'S INSIGHTS
Matt Gordon continued our journey through Philippians 4 by reminding us that a healthy church is built on unity, gentleness, gratitude, and a shared focus on Christ. Paul's encouragement to the Philippians was not simply about getting along. It was about becoming the kind of people who can faithfully carry out God's mission together by keeping their eyes fixed on what matters most.

Highlights
• Paul urged two believers in conflict to pursue unity, reminding us that even faithful Christians can lose sight of the bigger picture when personal disagreements become the focus.
• We were challenged to "put Jesus in the room" in every conversation and relationship, allowing His presence to shape our words, attitudes, and responses.
• The message reminded us to keep eternity in view. Many of the things that divide us today will not matter in the long run, but how we love one another will.
• Rather than dwelling on anxiety, fear, and what is wrong, Paul calls believers to fix their minds on whatever is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent, and praiseworthy.
• Contentment is not found in perfect circumstances. Like Paul, we can learn to trust Christ's strength whether we have plenty or are in need.
• The church is strongest when we encourage one another, carry each other's burdens, and remember that together we can accomplish far more than we ever could alone.

Takeaway
Peace grows when we keep Christ at the center of our relationships, choose gratitude over anxiety, and focus our minds on God's goodness. As we pursue unity and encourage one another, we become a church that reflects Christ and carries His hope into the world.
