Premarital
Pieter and Carol Van Waarde offer a 10-session marriage preparation course on Thursday evenings from 7:00 - 9:00, on the Columbia campus, during the fall and spring semesters for couples already engaged or considering marriage.
At the very core of every relationship leading to marriage must be a willingness to live God’s way. For those who have this foundation, no storm will topple the structure they build on it, for God and His Word are sure. Woodcrest offers and encourages a marriage preparation process for those who are thinking of getting married.
If you are currently in a relationship where you are discussing marriage, we are here to encourage the growth that is already taking place in your relationship. We want to help you learn what it means to truly honor each other and God, so that the foundation of your marriage is solid and strong. Our premarital classes will help you explore issues to prepare you for a healthy, Godly marriage.
If you are requesting a Woodcrest Pastor to officiate a wedding or requesting usage of the Woodcrest facility for the rehearsal, wedding or reception, you’ll need to participate in the Premarital Class and embrace the expected standards covered in this class.
To apply for the Premarital class, fill out the
Premarital Application Registration and request a Wedding Packet. Please allow three weeks for processing. Complete and return the Premarital Application and all other materials to the Woodcrest office.
Upon receipt the Premarital Class coordinator will contact you with further information relating to the next classes that are offered.
